Welcome to La Candileja Farm web site. Our Farm is located in the vereda of Guavio Bajo, south of Fusagasugá in the Cundinamarca Department [province] in the central region of Colombia.

The farm was created in 1972 by Marco Tulio Díaz Lugo who spent the last 38 years of his life working on it.

Location. Our farm is located at 4º 21' 00" north latitude and 74º 24' 00" western longitude and it's 80 Km far from Bogotá, about an hour and a half drive. It is possible to get to the farm from the capital city using either the Panamerican Road or the one through San Miguel [Bogotá-Sibaté-La Aguadita-Fusagasugá].

Climate. The average altitude is 1,728 meters above sea level with rain fall higher than 1,250 mm and an average temperature of 19° Celsius. Due to our location in the planet [torrid zone], we don't have seasons and these conditions are the same all year long.

Products. We have a lot of products to be distributed in Colombia and all over the world. Our farm has a variety of products for distribution in Colombia and around the world; some of them are birds of paradise [flowers], coffee, fruits, wood, etc.
